the only issue that could begin to arise regarding Jun Chikuma’s masterful jungle-fusion soundtrack for Bomberman Hero is that it is being pushed out at 32khz by the Nintendo 64’s CPU, due to lack of dedicated audio processor and the fact that nobody could really be bothered to write their own sound routines (the Tetrisphere guys excluded!)
this release of the soundtrack fixes that, mixing back in the high-end crunches of sampled and resampled stabs and breakbeats, and filling out the extremely low booms of the sub basses. get ready to hear one of the best soundtracks ever written like you’ve never heard it before!
